My sense of humor is about an 9.3 out of 10. If you can’t laugh at yourself, what’s the point?

I enjoy coffee. Good coffee. I own a French Press.

Melodic heavy metal music can often be heard in my office and car. Don’t worry, I like acoustic music, too.

Kaboom!, my Australian Sheep Herder/Chow dog, chomps his teeth together loudly and spins frantically in circles when excited.

Trash_Audio Synth Meet 5 | Chicago

I finally had a chance to attend one of the recurring modular synthesizer meet-ups organized by the Trash_Audio duo (Justin McGrath & Surachai) and Xart Studios in Chicago.

Everyone is encouraged (but not necessary) to bring their modular/synth/keyboard/drum machine/etc and allow others an opportunity to play with gear they may not be able to otherwise. It also gives people a local forum to discuss electronic music instruments.

Two words: Modular Madness.
